I like to crochet - but - the only things that turn out are scarfs, shawl, lap afghans. Because I am one of the 10% of Americans that are left handed. All videos show right handed, and that is totally backwards for me. But, I do have plenty of scarfs (and so do friends) So I should not complain. BTW If you know anyone left handed National Left hand day is August 13 :)

Use 3 fingers for a smaller pompom and use your scissors to really give the pompom a smooth appearance.

Worked beautifully! Made two scrunchies to match a shirt I sewed.

Did you stitch it down by hand or with a machine?

Wait this is so many easier than the WikiHow methods. I was sceptical at first but wow ok this can take 15 minutes off my scrunchy making time. I was painstakingly trying to match the final seams up on the short sides, seams folded inwards, and using a ladder stitch. Much better the slide one end into the other! Gonna need longer fabric though!
